Fraudulent Cards
They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but that�s not the case when you are talking about the increasing number of fraudulent CSCS cards in the market. We take incidences of this type very seriously as do the police.
If you suspect that you have been shown a fraudulent CSCS card
- Take possession of card.
- Call CSCS Call Centre 0844 576 8777. The CSCS operator will help you confirm your suspicions or otherwise.
- Or check online at https://www.citb-constructionskills.co.uk/phoenix/home.asp
- If the card appears to be fraudulent:
- Retain the card if possible
- Make photocopies of front and back
- Record cardholder�s name and address
- Ask cardholder where the card was obtained from
- Call the local police and report the matter
- Refuse access to site (subject to company rules).
- Forward copies of all evidence to CSCS at PO Box 114, Bircham Newton, Kings Lynn, Norfolk, PE31 6XD marked �SUSPECTED FRAUDULENT CARD� with any crime number given by local police.
- CSCS will fully support any prosecution with technical and factual evidence.
