CSCS Online is going passwordless
Published: February 24, 2025
CSCS is replacing password logins to CSCS Online with one-time access codes via mobile or email later this week to help ensure a more streamlined, efficient and secure login process.
The change applies to all users whether they are an individual customer or an organisation such as an employer, training provider or third party.
What’s changing?
CSCS Online users will soon log in using a one-time access code sent to their email or mobile number, using one of the below options.
- Email Login – Simply enter your registered email on the login page, and a six-character code will be sent to your inbox for verification. Enter the code to log in.
- SMS Login – Enter your registered mobile number, and you’ll receive a six-character code via SMS to log in. Enter the code to log in.
For those who haven’t verified their mobile number yet, verification will be required before using SMS login.
Registering with CSCS Online
CSCS is also removing passwords from the registration process for new users – whether as an individual or organisation.
Instead, you’ll be sent a code to your email to create the account. You will also be asked for your mobile number with country code for verification to allow mobile logins.
- One-Time Passcode (OTP) verification – A passcode will be sent to your email during registration, ensuring secure account creation. Enter this code to register.
- Mobile Validation – Users will have the option to verify their mobile number for added security and login flexibility.
Why make this change?
By removing passwords, we aim to make the registration and login process for CSCS Online easier and more secure.
