CSCS accepts the PCN Certification
Published: August 25, 2017
CSCS and the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) have agreed a new route to a CSCS card.
The Personnel Certification in Non-Destructive Testing (PCN Certificate) Level 2 and Level 3 has been approved as an equivalent to the relevant National Occupational Standard (NOS) for Non-Destructive Testing and therefore will be recognised by CSCS.
This means that from 1ST September 2017 the PCN certificate will be accepted as a route to either a blue Skilled Workers card or gold CSCS card.
Operatives applying with the PCN certificate must also have passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test for Operatives within the 2 years prior to their application.
CSCS is pleased to have worked alongside the BINDT to provide Non-Destructive Testing operatives with an alternative route to a CSCS card.
