CSCS Smart Check – Go-live information

Project Update
The new CSCS Smart Check app will be production ready and live as of the 1st April, with sites expected to begin rolling out from this point forward. This update covers the steps you will need to take on site in order to deploy the new Smart Check App into your construction site.
The new CSCS Smart Check app is intended to:
• Promote a Qualified and Competent Workforce
• Tackle Fraud
• Increase Access Efficiency
During the deployment of the new Smart Check App, we will be looking to gather feedback on its ease of use and any additional comments around functionality or issues. Feedback can be provided via the following link: https://forms.office.com/r/cmZV5qQMwK
Industry Updates
The final industry update will take place on 31st March 2022 at 15.00PM. These webinars are intended to provide industry with an overview of the application, training and support materials, and any key updates which will need to be considered. Deploying CSCS Smart Check
Users will be able to download CSCS Smart Check from the Apple and Google App stores as of Friday April 1st 2022. It is recommended that users download over Wi-Fi prior to attending site to avoid any network related issues i.e., lack of strong internet connection, no site Wi-Fi etc.
Users will then be able to scan the cards of all users attending site, except for the following schemes who will be going live on the app later in April.
CSWIP, IPAF, ADSA, CISRS, LEEA, CPCS, ACE, PASMA, MPQC, SEIRS, SSPC, Trainthepainter, ICATS
For these schemes, users should proceed with the usual method of validation, up until Phase 2 release of the Application later in the month.
Please also note the following schemes may be slightly delayed and will likely go live shortly after the launch date of April 1st: Allianz, ADIA, CSR, HSB EIL, SNIJIB
CSCS Smart Check Help and Support If cards cannot be found using Smart Check, it is recommended that users go to the Help and Support webpage to determine the appropriate next steps.
