New card checking applications saves housebuilder 500 working days per year
The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) have revoked 4,615 cards, following investigations into fraudulent activity at five test centres.
The recent BBC Newsnight undercover investigation identified fraudulent activity at some test centres delivering construction industry training. The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), British Safety Council (BSC) and Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) has made the following joint statement:
CSCS will stop accepting all applications via the Profiled Route from 1st April 2016.
